Worship - What to Expect
We meet together on Sunday mornings to worship God, as a church family. (Heb 10:25, 1 Jn. 1:4)
In our worship service you'll find people of all ages - from newborns to people in their 90s. You'll find people in both jeans and slacks. We recognize that God looks at the heart of who attends and not his/her attire. We have a traditional style of worship. We sing from the hymnal accompanied by the piano (and sometimes the organ). We confess our faith in the words of the Apostles Creed and our service culminates with the preaching of God's Word.
We are both relaxed and reverent in our worship service. Relaxed, because we know our sins were forgiven in full at the cross. We are reverent, because we know that we are meeting with God. As the psalmist says, in Ps. 62:11-12a, "two things have I heard: that you, O God, are strong, and that you, O Lord, are loving.
As we keep this sacred appointment with God - we trust Him to keep His Word. To reward those who diligently seek Him (Heb. 11:6: Mt. 7:7, 8; Js. 4:8).
Sunday School
We offer a Sunday School class for every age!
We hope you'll join us on Sundays @ 9:00am in the Fellowship Hall classrooms.
Primary Children's class (ages preschool - grade 5)
Teen class (ages grade 6-12)
Adult Mixed class (mixed ages of adults - teens welcome too!)
Men's Bible Class (adult men's class)
